Endometriosis is a gynecological disorder, defined as the presence of endometrial-like tissue outside the uterine cavity, primarily on the pelvic peritoneum, ovaries, pouch of Douglas and rectovaginal septum. Endometriosis affect approximately 10% of women of reproductive age. Overall diagnosis of endometriosis rise 11,7 years.

Outcomes from the scientific team shows, for the first time, a biomarkers of physiopathologic status of uterin. More precisely a protein has been found to be involved in embryo implantation process.

Thank to this biomarker, it become possible to detect earlier endometriosis and carrying out patients as soon as possible. Moreover, this test could be used for prevention of miscarrying due to poor embryo implantation and also to determine with an accurate idea the implantation window for IVD.

This technology brings to physician a new tool to carry reproductive issue.
