BACKGROUND

With available technologies, it is possible to observe land stocks based on biophysical characteristics, type of land use (residential, agricultural…), level of construction, purpose or allocation.

More than a simple land observation, LINA allows to characterize the plots of a territory according to their potential with different analysis levels, by proceeding to the crossed treatment of land use information and available land evaluation. This treatment delivers a potential index as a tool to support decision making.

Thanks to LINA, it is now possible to define the extent to which the plot and the settlement/building/rehabilitation project which is planned. We can now have an in-depth analysis in a single tool.
