BACKGROUND

In the architecture field very few applications allow, the description, analysis, documentation and sharing of digital representations of heritage buildings.

HOW IT WORKS

The NUBES platform allows storing and qualifying 3D digital buildings representations with spatial referencing and multiple semantic annotations. It provides a visual analysis, based both on the positioning of a virtual observation camera in the 3D scene and on its content: architectural features, semantic attributes, temporal attributes, etc.

Flexible tools are provided to navigate in the 3D scene in real time, to locate the viewpoint of iconographic sources on the 3D scene, and to display 2D iconography overlaid to 3D representations of the building.
