Une innovation r\u00e9compens\u00e9e par un prix \u00e0 la derni\u00e8re conf\u00e9rence Photonics Europe, \u00e9v\u00e9nement de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence dans le domaine de l\u2019optique-photonique.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-39464-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-39464-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-39464-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">La nouvelle technologie Microcurved<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-39464-3\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-39464-3-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-39464-3-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>Les fibres optiques transportent des faisceaux lumineux de leurs sources (lasers, diodes\u2026) \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de mesure. Au c\u0153ur de nombreux \u00e9quipements technologiques strat\u00e9giques, elles permettent d\u2019analyser, de d\u00e9tecter ou d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 dans des domaines vari\u00e9s comme la recherche, le m\u00e9dical, le spatial, la d\u00e9fense ou encore les t\u00e9l\u00e9communications.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le domaine de l\u2019<strong>environnement<\/strong>, les fibres optiques en verre fluor\u00e9 servent \u00e0 des applications de d\u00e9tection fine (pollution environnementale notamment). Contrairement aux fibres optiques silice classiques, elles transportent plus sp\u00e9cifiquement des faisceaux moyen infra-rouges, permettant de capter ainsi une lumi\u00e8re non-visible \u00e0 notre oeil. Elles constituent de ce fait u<strong>n outil strat\u00e9gique pour toutes les activit\u00e9s de spectroscopie<\/strong>, un march\u00e9 en pleine croissance (+ 7 % de croissance annuelle pour un C.A. de 15 milliards d\u2019euros en 2021 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelon mondial).<\/p>\n<p>Pour fonctionner, les syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9tection en moyen infrarouge utilisent des lentilles classiques, qui h\u00e9las engendrent une <strong>d\u00e9perdition de puissance importante<\/strong> (environ 60% de pertes) entre la source lumineuse et le faisceau d\u2019entr\u00e9e dans la fibre optique.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-39464-4\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-39464-4-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-39464-4-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"5\" ><div class=\"panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-39464-4-0-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>Pour lever ce frein technique, des \u00e9quipes de recherche franco-alg\u00e9riennes ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 <strong>Microcurved, une nouvelle technologie in\u00e9dite ancr\u00e9e sur l\u2019int\u00e9gration de micro-lentilles au coeur de la fibre<\/strong>. Concr\u00e8tement, une micro-lentille est int\u00e9gr\u00e9e directement \u00e0 l\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 du coeur de la fibre. <strong>Les avantages de cette nouvelle technologie sont multiples<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Une performance d\u00e9multipli\u00e9e<\/strong> : efficacit\u00e9 de couplage<em>(2)<\/em> sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 70 % avec des fibres micro lentill\u00e9es, contre 40 % avec des fibres nues<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un format plus compact et l\u00e9ger<\/strong> : diam\u00e8tre de la micro-lentille de 10 \u00e0 50 microm\u00e8tres maximum pour un poids plume de 0.1 g (contre 5,5 mm de diam\u00e8tre et 10 g de poids pour une lentille classique)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un co\u00fbt plus abordable<\/strong> : - 40 % par rapport \u00e0 des lentilles classiques<\/li>\n<li><strong>Une maintenance optimis\u00e9e et une durabilit\u00e9 accrue<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Une capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 focaliser des faisceaux jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la limite diffraction<\/strong> (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire sur quelques microm\u00e8tres)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-39464-5\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-39464-5-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-39464-5-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"6\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>Demain, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette nouvelle technologie, il sera ainsi possible de <strong>d\u00e9tecter des polluants avec une<\/strong> efficacit\u00e9<strong> in\u00e9gal\u00e9e, d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux m\u00e9dicaments<\/strong> ou de <strong>r\u00e9aliser des analyses m\u00e9dicales pointues<\/strong>.
