Face \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis, la recherche et l'innovation jouent un r\u00f4le essentiel pour am\u00e9liorer le diagnostic, d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux traitements et offrir de meilleures perspectives aux patients. En transformant les d\u00e9couvertes scientifiques en innovations de rupture, les SATT acc\u00e9l\u00e8rent l'\u00e9mergence de solutions concr\u00e8tes pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces d\u00e9fis. D\u00e9couvrez neuf startups et technologies issues du travail des SATT, illustrant la capacit\u00e9 de la recherche fran\u00e7aise \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux enjeux actuels et futurs li\u00e9s aux maladies rares.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-48090-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-48090-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-48090-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>La France est reconnue comme l'un des pays les plus engag\u00e9s dans la recherche sur les maladies rares. Plus de 3 millions de personnes sont concern\u00e9es sur le territoire et l'on recense plus de 7 000 maladies rares, dont seulement 5 % disposent d'un traitement sp\u00e9cifique. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cet enjeu de sant\u00e9 publique, la recherche est men\u00e9e par de nombreux acteurs tels que l'INSERM, le CNRS, les universit\u00e9s, les Centres Hospitaliers Universitaires (CHU), les 132 Centres de R\u00e9f\u00e9rence Maladies Rares (CRMR) et les 23 Fili\u00e8res de Sant\u00e9 Maladies Rares (FSMR). Ces structures collaborent avec les associations de patients et les entreprises afin de mieux comprendre ces maladies, d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux traitements et am\u00e9liorer le diagnostic.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre du plan France 2030, l'\u00c9tat investit massivement dans l'innovation en sant\u00e9 afin de faire de la France un leader des bioth\u00e9rapies, de la m\u00e9decine g\u00e9nomique et des traitements innovants, dont ceux destin\u00e9s aux maladies rares. Le plan soutient le d\u00e9veloppement des th\u00e9rapies g\u00e9niques et cellulaires, des biom\u00e9dicaments, du s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome et de la recherche clinique. Ces investissements visent \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la d\u00e9couverte de nouveaux traitements, \u00e0 renforcer la production de m\u00e9dicaments innovants en France et \u00e0 favoriser l'\u00e9mergence de start-up et d'entreprises sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans les maladies rares. \u00a0France 2030 compl\u00e8te ainsi le 4\u1d49 Plan National Maladies Rares (PNMR4, 2025-2030), qui vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l'errance diagnostique, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la recherche, d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux traitements et am\u00e9liorer l'acc\u00e8s des patients aux innovations th\u00e9rapeutiques.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les SATT jouent un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant en permettant de transformer les d\u00e9couvertes scientifiques en innovations de rupture adapt\u00e9es au secteur de la sant\u00e9<\/strong>, qu'il s'agisse de nouveaux outils diagnostiques, de th\u00e9rapies innovantes, de dispositifs m\u00e9dicaux ou encore de solutions d'intelligence artificielle appliqu\u00e9es. Sa technologie repose sur un m\u00e9dicament ciblant les dysfonctionnements des mitochondries, v\u00e9ritables centrales \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques des cellules cardiaques. En favorisant le recyclage mitochondrial, Ankial vise \u00e0 restaurer la bio\u00e9nerg\u00e9tique du c\u0153ur et \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir le d\u00e9veloppement de la pathologie. Cette strat\u00e9gie ouvre la voie \u00e0 une prise en charge innovante de maladies cardiaques rares pour lesquelles les options th\u00e9rapeutiques sont aujourd\u2019hui limit\u00e9es. L\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une strat\u00e9gie in\u00e9dite, utilisant des stabilisateurs ayant des m\u00e9canismes d\u2019actions in\u00e9dits par rapport aux modulateurs du canal CFTR actuellement disponibles. Ces travaux ont conduit \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de la biotech <strong>ACESO Therapeutics<\/strong>, qui explore d\u00e9sormais une bith\u00e9rapie combin\u00e9e pour am\u00e9liorer la prise en charge des patients. Il en est de m\u00eame dans des pathologies plus courantes, notamment dans la maladie de Parkinson, o\u00f9 la prot\u00e9ine alpha-synucl\u00e9ine s\u2019agr\u00e8ge dans des corps de Lewy. Il s'agit ici du developpement de mol\u00e9cules chimiques anti-prions capables de r\u00e9duire l'agr\u00e9gation des prot\u00e9ines. Aujourd\u2019hui, aucun traitement pharmacologique n\u2019existe pour pr\u00e9venir, retarder l\u2019apparition ou traiter les fractures de fragilit\u00e9 dans l\u2019ost\u00e9ogen\u00e8se imparfaite. Nos travaux pr\u00e9liminaires ont permis de mettre en \u00e9vidence un effet b\u00e9n\u00e9fique d\u2019un double analogue GIP\/GLP-2, appel\u00e9 GL-0001, dans un mod\u00e8le animal d\u2019ost\u00e9ogen\u00e8se imparfaite s\u00e9v\u00e8re avec une r\u00e9duction d\u2019environ 70% des fractures osseuses. Issu du laboratoire ImmunoConcept et du CHU de Bordeaux, il repose sur l\u2019utilisation de la clusterine, une prot\u00e9ine aux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s protectrices. Les MAT sont dues \u00e0 la lib\u00e9ration d\u2019histones toxiques dans le plasma, provoquant l\u2019obstruction des micro\u2011vaisseaux et des atteintes multivisc\u00e9rales. L\u2019objectif est d\u2019utiliser la clusterine pour neutraliser ces histones et limiter rapidement les dommages vasculaires dans des contextes cliniques critiques.
