Non-invasive quality control test for pluripotent stem cells
Context
The use of manipulated human pluripotent stem cells (PSC) ex vivo is a highly promising strategy in cell therapy and for the pharmaceutical industry. However, PSCs acquire genetic anomalies during their culture, which compromises their use.
Benefits
The INTEGRACELLS project proposes to develop an innovative test to routinely control the quality of gene integrity for pluripotent stem cells in culture. The unique aspect of this test is that it is rapid, predictive, simple, highly sensitive, and cost-effective.
Applications
1) Cell therapy
2) Fundamental and developmental biology
3) Disease modeling
4) Molecule screening
