Native biofilms washing machine

This invention is on a method and a device dedicated to prepare and wash biofilms for analysis. This washing technique is not destructive nor aggressive, and preserves biofilms integrity. It enables the in-depth and accurate anaylsis of neoformed (native) or mature biofilms, through qualification and quantification or living bacteria forming the biofilm.

It provides an ideal basis to analyse bacterial, fungal or algal biofilms in various fields of application, ranging from health to food industries.
